Antique Victorian 9ct Gold Propelling Pencil 18.2g Seal Top Engine Turned
A superb heavy antique Victorian 9ct gold propelling pencil, 18.2g, with real presence in the hand. The barrel is finely engine-turned in a barleycorn pattern, finished with a richly chased foliate mid-band and an ornate figural seal terminal, the mark of a genuinely good piece. XRF tested as 9ct gold. It closes to around 10cm and extends to 14cm, and the propelling mechanism still works crisply. A gentleman's writing piece with a story, and a collectable in its own right.
Every piece is professionally cleaned and polished in-house before it leaves us, sent fully insured by Royal Mail Special Delivery next working day, and presented gift-boxed. 30 day no-quibble returns, so you can buy with complete confidence. Sold under the VAT margin scheme.
