A 9ct yellow gold bar brooch, the front engraved GRAMPA in raised capitals, on a safety pin fitting. The pin itself is a base metal finding, as is usual on a gold brooch.

Hallmarks: struck 9 and 375 for 9ct gold with the Birmingham anchor, the sponsor's mark AJH and the date letter A, on the reverse of the bar. Read under a loupe here and photographed on the listing, mark by mark.

Measurements: 5cm long, weighing 1.31g.

Condition: excellent, cleaned and polished before despatch.
